Congress leader and former CM Kamal Nath's media advisor, Piyush Babele, shared a railway ticket on social media platform X on Sunday, highlighting how 'the Modi government uses advertising techniques by marketing Operation Sindoor on railway tickets as a Modi advertisement. They are seemingly turning the valor of the armed forces into a product to sell. This approach leans more towards transaction rather than patriotism.'
Babele stated, 'Since the Indian army's Operation Sindoor has hit back at Pakistan decisively, BJP's attempt has been to leverage the armed forces' valor and bravery in electoral politics. However, India has always upheld the tradition of not using the army politically in any manner.'

Immediate Ban Demanded
Kamal Nath's media advisor articulated, "Initially, BJP leaders made irresponsible statements, and now, taking a step further, BJP has or perhaps the central government has commenced advertising Operation Sindoor on railway tickets, featuring Modi's photo and statement. Clearly, BJP is openly exploiting the army for political gains in the upcoming Bihar elections even involving the government. This needs to be immediately prohibited."

The entire nation shares this pride in our forces' bravery and courage. Indian Railway employees also take pride in our forces. We have decided to highlight the Operation Sindoor message on railway tickets issued by Indian Railways to spread the message of celebration throughout the nation."
