The final day for submitting forms under Bihar's Special Intensive Revision campaign has celebrated impressive coverage. The Election Commission reported an impressive 99.8% of voters are now covered. As per the commission, an astounding 72.3 million voters actively participated in the intensive process, showcasing trust in the SIR procedures.
The Election Commission has confirmed that these 72.3 million voter forms are now digitized. All names are slated for inclusion in the draft voter list. The forms and reports of remaining voters are expected to be digital by August 1. Lists of those deselected—due to not filing forms, passing away, or permanently moving to other states—were shared with all 12 recognized political parties on July 20.
