The comprehensive revision (voter verification) of the voter list in Bihar is now in its final phase. The Election Commission has reported that 80.11% of voters have already submitted their Eligibility Certificates (EF) forms. If this momentum continues, this task will be completed across the state in the next three days.
By Saturday evening, forms from 63,259,497 voters had been collected, constituting approximately 80.11% of the state's total voters. Under this special campaign, 77,895 BLOs and 20,603 newly appointed BLOs are collecting forms door-to-door. In addition, 150,000 BLAs and over 400,000 volunteers are actively assisting senior citizens, the disabled, and vulnerable groups.
So far, 46.6 million forms have been digitally uploaded on the integrated software platform known as ECI Net. This platform consolidates 40 different apps of the Election Commission, making the work process faster and more transparent.
Eligible voters must submit their EF forms in time to register their names in the draft voter list published on August 1, 2025. Those without documents currently can submit them separately by August 30, 2025.
This entire process is monitored by 38 District Election Officers (DEOs), 243 Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), and 963 Assistant EROs. The Election Commission has made it clear that they aim to complete as much work as possible before the set deadline.
