In the context of the Bihar Assembly Election, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is reaching out to Muslim voters. The party is preparing to launch the 'Modi's Gift' campaign. During Eid, 3.2 million underprivileged Muslims will receive 'Modi's Gift', ensuring their celebrations are unhindered.
32,000 BJP officials will visit 32,000 mosques, promising Modi's Gift to 3.2 million impoverished Muslims.
'Not a government, but a monarchy...'
Samajwadi Party MP Afzal Ansari stated, "Everything is happening because of the elections in Bihar. If the BJP can do anything for Muslims, it should be to provide justice and ensure their rights, which would be the most significant boon."
RJD MP Manoj Jha commented, "The Prime Minister has a habit of having his picture displayed everywhere, except on a death certificate. Before boasting about gifts, you should be empathetic. This is not a monarchy, but a democracy. If you begin to see yourself as an emperor, what can I say? It appears that there is a semblance of a monarchy instead of governance in Delhi."
TMC MP Kirti Azad remarked, "Have you ever seen a crocodile's mouth? It looks like it's smiling, but approach closely, and it bites. They have nothing to showcase, so now they've introduced Modi's Gift. It's a joke."

'Food supplies in the kit...'
BJP Minority Morcha National President Jamal Siddiqui said, "Modi Ji is the PM for 1.4 billion Indians. It's the festival season, Eid is approaching, and Ramadan is ongoing. Our workers will distribute kits containing food supplies, a suit cloth for the household's female head, and essentials for the festival like vermicelli, gram flour, dry fruits, milk, and sugar."
Congress MP Imran Masood mentioned, "Muslims need gifts of education, respect, and employment. Your kit won't suffice for them."
Congress aims to win 50 seats
Recently, Bihar Congress announced its goal to win 50 seats. While acknowledging the difficulty, they assert it's not impossible. Akhilesh Prasad claimed that surprising results would favor Bihar Congress this time.
Congress needs to contest more seats to achieve the 'Mission 50' slogan and deliver unexpected outcomes. In the 2020 elections, the party contested 70 seats, securing only a 27% strike rate with 19 wins. Will RJD risk giving more seats when the grand alliance missed the magic figure of 122 by just 12 seats? Congress's performance was blamed for the opposition coalition's setback.

Grand Old Party's Plan-45
Understanding that the previous performance is a major hurdle in seat-sharing negotiations, Congress has devised Plan-45. In 2015, Congress contested 41 seats, winning 27, marking its best performance since 1995 when it won 29 seats. Back then, JD(U) was part of the grand alliance. Before the 2020 elections, Congress leadership insisted on more seats.
The back-and-forth negotiations continued until Rahul Gandhi's discussion with Tejashwi Yadav. Lalu Yadav's party eventually agreed to give Congress 70 seats, 29 more than in 2015. However, the seat allocation strategy didn't favor the Grand Old Party, granting seats hard to win for years. In 2019, NDA led in 67 out of these 70 seats.
