The Bihar assembly elections are becoming more intriguing with each passing day. The Mahagathbandhan's chief ministerial candidate, Tejashwi Yadav, and his elder brother, Tej Pratap Yadav, have found themselves on opposite sides. Breaking away from the party and family, Tej Pratap has formed the new party, Jan Shakti Janata Dal, and has entered the electoral battlefield for 2025. Speaking to the media, Tej Pratap declared, 'The people are the ultimate power, the party comes later. Tejashwi is just a child, may God grant him wisdom.' He further stated, 'If Tejashwi has toured Mahua, then I will tour Raghopur. Now, it's a real face-off: brother versus brother.'
Showdown in Mahua and Raghopur
While Tejashwi Yadav campaigned against his elder brother in Mahua, Tej Pratap Yadav countered with an election rally against younger brother Tejashwi in Raghopur. Addressing the crowd in Raghopur, Tej Pratap said, 'Your legislator has done no work. We distributed relief among flood victims, whereas Tejashwi merely deceives and exploits the public.'
'The People are the Real Party'
From the platform, Tej Pratap Yadav asserted, 'Some leaders incite the public, claiming the party is everything, but I say, the people are everything. It is the people who make and break parties, and it is the people who establish and run governments.'
He commented, 'Some conniving individuals targeted me and got me ousted from the party. They realized another Lalu Yadav has emerged in Bihar.'

'We Serve the People in Laluji's Original Style'
Taking a jab at Tejashwi, Tej Pratap said, 'It was mentioned that Tejashwi Yadav landed a helicopter in Mahua, so we retorted, let him land there, we will land in Raghopur.' He added, 'In Patna, we sit in Laluji's original style and work for the people, while some keep the public waiting for hours, enjoying meals at home.'
Promise of a Medical College in Raghopur
Tej Pratap Yadav urged the public that if they truly support Lalu Yadav's ideology and social justice, they should vote for his candidate. He promised, 'A medical college in Raghopur will be established to provide better healthcare for the people.'
'Beware of the Green Scarf Impostors, Our Party is Laluji's True Party'
Tej Pratap cautioned, 'Don't fall for the pretenders. Those wearing green scarves are all fake. The true party of Laluji is Jan Shakti Janata Dal.'
