In the Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh, the main accused in a conversion case, Jamaluddin alias Changur Baba, is now facing serious allegations of seizing government land and tampering with documents. Investigation reveals that Baba amassed millions in property through foreign funding received from conversions and constructed valuable complexes in Utraula.

According to sources, Baba first filled in the government-owned Kundwa pond in Patel Nagar, Utraula, and then, through document forgery, began unauthorized plotting on approximately 30,000 square feet of land. The most shocking revelation is that Baba initially recorded the land in the name of some poor individuals and later bought it back in the name of his close associate Neetu alias Nasreen for 9.3 million INR.

In this matter, the then-ADM of Balrampur sent a written complaint to Utraula's municipal body, stating that the pond's land was being filled in and plotted on illegally and action should be taken immediately. However, no action was taken by the administration.

When today's team arrived near the seized government land and pond, the local people openly shared Baba's misdeeds. They claimed that Baba also blocked a culvert built from MP funds, which used to drain floodwaters annually. Due to its closure, waterlogging has become a severe issue during rains in the neighborhood.
