Two new videos of the violence in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh have surfaced on social media. One video reportedly shows the victim, Ramgopal Mishra, on a rooftop. While taking down a green flag, gunfire can be heard, causing Ramgopal to fall. From another rooftop, an individual capturing the video can be heard shouting, 'Look, he's been shot.'
In another video, the alleged murderer can be seen on a rooftop while a procession passes below. This footage is taken just minutes before Ramgopal's murder. It's reported that the roof from which the suspects stood belongs to Abdul Hameed, where the fatal shot was fired at Ramgopal. Police are actively searching for the four suspects seen in the video, though they remain at large four days after the incident.

The video from Abdul Hameed's roof shows many bricks and bottles scattered around, sparking discussions of the stone-throwing being premeditated. So far, over 50 individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident. Police continue to search for the suspects. Sources report that a charged individual, Zaheer from Maharajganj Bazaar, has been taken into custody.

Previously, an image emerged of the person believed to have shot Ramgopal Mishra. The suspect is seen brandishing a gun, purportedly at Abdul Hameed's residence. This image quickly became viral, although no official statement has been released yet, it remains a topic of heated discussion.
On Sunday evening, at around 6 PM, Ramgopal Mishra, a resident of Rehua Mansoor village in Bahraich's Hardi area, joined a procession for the immersion of a Durga idol. As the procession passed through a predominantly Muslim neighborhood in Maharajganj Bazaar, tensions flared between two factions. Allegedly, stones were thrown from rooftops, creating chaos among the crowd. Amidst the confusion, Ramgopal was fatally shot.
The news of Ramgopal's death sparked a riot in Maharajganj town. Furious protesters vandalized and set fire to the suspect's residence and numerous vehicles. When the deceased's body returned to the village on Monday, unrest erupted once more. Several homes, a nursing home, bike showrooms, and shops in Maharajganj were vandalized and set ablaze. In an attempt to control the agitated crowd, the police resorted to tear gas.

As the situation worsened, internet services were cut throughout the district. PAC and RAF units were deployed to the streets. The STF Chief personally stepped onto the streets, armed with a pistol. Four days after the incident, tension remains high in Maharajganj. The victim's family has met with CM Yogi, who has ordered strict action in the case.
