A terrifying leopard causing panic in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, has finally been captured by the forest department. This leopard had attacked four people, including two children, over the last 20 days. Responding to villagers' demands, the forest department set up a trap and successfully caged the leopard.

The notorious leopard of Ayodhyapurwa village in Bahraich district, Uttar Pradesh, has finally been caught. The forest department successfully trapped the leopard, which had spread panic in the village for 20 days, attacking four people, including two children. The villagers breathed a sigh of relief upon its capture.

Reports indicate that in the Sujauli police jurisdiction of the Katerniaghat Range, Ayodhyapurwa village was under the terror of this leopard for several days. It attacked four people, creating fear and anxiety among the villagers. Angered by the attacks, villagers accused the forest department of negligence and threatened to block roads if the issue wasn't addressed immediately.

The leopard even ventured into a home, attacking an elderly woman sleeping under a mosquito net. This incident exhausted the villagers' patience, prompting them to demand prompt installation of a trap from the forest department.

Recognizing the escalating anger, DFO (Divisional Forest Officer) B. Shivshankar convened a meeting with forest officials and villagers. Following this, the department placed a trap in Ayodhyapurwa and began monitoring the leopard's movements. After several attempts, the leopard was finally ensnared last night.

With the leopard captured, residents of Ayodhyapurwa and surrounding areas have found relief. Prior to its capture, villagers were afraid to even step outside. The forest department now plans to relocate the leopard to a safer location. They assure that measures will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future, with additional steps to manage wildlife attacks.
