On Saturday, NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was tragically shot and killed. As he stepped out of his son Zeeshan Siddiqui's office in Bandra East, Mumbai, assailants fired openly, injuring a 22-year-old passerby in the leg.
A video has emerged of the man shot alongside Baba Siddiqui. During the attack on Baba Siddiqui, this individual was passing by and got hit in the leg. Writhing in agony, he was taken to a nearby Ram temple and later admitted to Bhabha Hospital for treatment.
Police Increase Security at Salman Khan's Residence
A social media post claims responsibility for Baba Siddiqui's death on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Though unverified, the police are investigating these claims. Following the mention of Lawrence Bishnoi, Bollywood actor Salman Khan's security has been ramped up.
Navi Mumbai police have confirmed increased patrols at Salman Khan's Panvel farmhouse, along with additional security personnel stationed at both internal and external areas. Roadblocks have been set up to facilitate vehicle checks. Security measures at Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments have also been intensified.
Three Arrested, Three at Large
In connection with Baba Siddiqui's murder, the police and crime branch have intensified their probe. So far, two alleged shooters have been arrested, with a third shooter, Shiv Kumar, still at large. Mumbai police are actively searching for him.
Gurmel Singh, Dharamraj Kashyap, and Shiv Kumar carried out the shooting on Saturday. Dharamraj and Gurmel have been apprehended, while Zeeshan, Shubham Lonkar, and Shiv Kumar are on the run. Shubham's brother Praveen was later arrested by the police as well.
