The timing for darshan at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya has been updated. Post the 12:00 PM Aarti, the temple will remain closed until 1:00 PM. Aarti attendees will be granted darshan, but the temple gates will close thereafter.

The temple gates for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi will remain shut to visitors for approximately 50 minutes. Alongside regular darshan, a special viewing can now be booked online. In the afternoon during closure, and between 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, two-hour online darshan passes will be allocated.

Two-hour online darshan slots

For every two-hour online darshan window, 300 individuals can apply. Those who secure an online darshan pass will enjoy convenient viewing experiences at Ram Lalla. Following the recommendations of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust members, an additional one hundred fifty can visit per slot.

This is why extended hours were initially introduced, now with reduced timing

Previously on January 22nd, the grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony took place in Ayodhya. The following day, the temple opened to the public. That day, a record of five hundred thousand people witnessed Ram Lalla. Consequently, the viewing schedule was extended. However, with improved conditions, the regular systems are being restored.

The temple construction work resumes at full capacity

We should note that the construction work of the Ram temple began anew on February 15th, with full force. Post the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, there was a month-long halt, and workers were on leave.

Office bearer Prakash Gupta from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust mentioned that the construction of the upper floor will conclude by the end of 2024. The Ram Darbar will be established on this second floor. Additional construction within the premises will aim for completion by the end of 2025.
