The case of a young girl's rape in Ayodhya resonated in the assembly on Thursday. CM Yogi addressed the issue, targeting the Samajwadi Party and the current SP MP from Ayodhya, Awadhesh Prasad. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the accused rapist is associated with the Samajwadi Party. He committed a horrendous crime against a girl from a backward caste. However, the SP has not yet taken any action against him, despite him being close to the SP MP.

CM Yogi mentioned that an incident of rape occurred involving a 12-year-old girl in Ayodhya. A Samajwadi Party leader, Moin Khan, was found to be involved in this act. He stays and associates closely with the MP from Ayodhya, being a part of his team. Yet, no action has been taken by the SP. The CM stated that the girl belongs to an extremely backward caste, but still, no action has been taken. Yogi affirmed that those who breach women's safety will not be spared.

This harassment and rape incident occurred in Ayodhya's Pura Kalandar police station area. Post rape, the offenders created an obscene video of the young girl and blackmailed her for a long time, committing grotesque deeds. The case was revealed when the victim was found to be two months pregnant.
The victim's family filed a complaint with the police, but no action was taken initially. The VHP, Bajrang Dal, and Nishad Party members expressed their outrage leading to the arrest of two individuals, including the Samajwadi Party's Bhadarsa town president.

Girl was Returning from Fields...
The 12-year-old girl is the youngest among four sisters; her father passed away two years ago. Their livelihood depends on the earnings from her mother and sisters' labor work. Allegedly, about two and a half months ago, while returning from the fields, Raju met her and told her that bakery owner Moeed Khan wanted to see her. Moeed allegedly raped her, and Raju recorded the act on video. Raju then also raped the girl and blackmailed her using the video footage for a long time.
The case came to light when the girl was two months pregnant. The victim’s mother said that when they went to the police outpost, the officer asked them to name only Raju and omit the second name. After SP intervention, the case was filed. The family is demanding the death penalty for the culprits.

It’s for the criminals who play with the future of the state's youth, who breach the safety of traders and daughters of our state, who create chaos and make life unbearable for general citizens. I am not here for a job, definitely not. The reason I am here is to make them face the consequences. This fight isn’t an ordinary one. It’s not about prestige. If I wanted to gain prestige, I would have found it in my monastery. I don’t need that.'
