In the blockbuster clash of the Asia Cup 2025, India and Pakistan will face off today (September 21). This Super Four match will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium at 8 PM IST. The Indian team is set for their second encounter against Pakistan in the current tournament. Last Sunday, on September 14, led by Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian team secured a sensational victory over Pakistan by seven wickets.

Cricket fans are eagerly watching for the playing elevens of both teams in this epic showdown. The exact line-ups will be revealed only after the toss. However, two changes seem certain for the Indian team. Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy were rested against Oman.

There is a strong possibility of Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy being drafted into the playing eleven. Fast bowlers Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana might miss this match. Both Harshit and Arshdeep participated in the Oman match, but they didn't get a chance in the group matches against Pakistan and the UAE.

India’s Potential Combination

Against Pakistan, the Indian team might field with 4 specialist batters, 2 batting all-rounders, 1 wicketkeeper, 1 spin bowling all-rounder, 2 specialist spinners, and 1 specialist fast bowler. Along with Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh, Jitesh Sharma and Rinku Singh might also sit out for this match.

Meanwhile, after losing to India in the group match, the Pakistani team made two changes against Oman. Fast bowler Haris Rauf and batting all-rounder Khushdil Shah were included in the playing eleven. However, wrist spinner Sufiyan Mukim and bowling all-rounder Faheem Ashraf didn't make the squad. It remains to be seen if Pakistan retains the same playing eleven against Oman in the upcoming match.
