Delhi's Lieutenant Governor, VK Saxena, has directed the Chief Secretary to probe allegations related to registration under the 'Chief Minister Women's Respect Scheme' following a complaint by Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit. This campaign by AAP promises to give female voters in Delhi ₹2,100 per month. The LG has asked the Delhi Police Commissioner to investigate whether any 'unauthorized persons' are coercing women to fill forms for the proposed ₹2,100 monthly benefit.

Reacting to the investigation order by Delhi's LG, Arvind Kejriwal commented, 'BJP is unnerved by the Women's Respect and Sanjeevani schemes, being worried about losing the Delhi elections. People are registering in droves for the Women's Respect Card and Sanjeevani Scheme. Many BJP leaders have privately admitted defeat to me, and are now disrupting our registration camps, sending hooligans to stop registrations, even involving Delhi police to halt the process.'

Joint Efforts by BJP-Congress to Halt AAP in Delhi

Kejriwal expressed, 'BJP lacks the courage, hence they use Congress's Sandeep Dikshit to file complaints. Both parties are jointly working to stop AAP in Delhi, but they will not succeed. Keep registering for the Women's Respect and Sanjeevani schemes, and we will implement these after winning the elections.'

He remarked, 'What investigations will BJP conduct? What is there to investigate? These schemes haven’t been executed yet; they are our electoral promises. We've committed to launching these schemes post-election. BJP contests the 2025 election to halt every welfare policy. They wish to end the Women's Respect Scheme.' He continued, warning that a BJP victory in Delhi would cut off free electricity, water, bus services, and education currently benefiting residents.

Why No Action Against Pravesh Verma Distributing Money Openly?

Kejriwal targeted BJP leader Pravesh Verma, accusing him of buying votes by distributing money openly. He questioned why no investigations or actions are taken against such blatant misconduct. Kejriwal assured voters, 'Do you trust me, Kejriwal? I promised free electricity and water. They said it wasn’t possible. BJP tried hard to stop these initiatives, but I kept my promise.'
