The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has issued a statement over the escalating tension between India and Pakistan. Expressing profound concern about the deteriorating security landscape in South Asia, the OIC Secretariat has urged for the immediate resumption of dialogue between India and Pakistan. The organization emphasized the need for resolving all differences peacefully, adhering to international law and the United Nations Charter, to maintain regional peace, security, and stability.
OIC has reiterated its strong condemnation of terrorism in all its forms, maintaining a highly transparent and firm stance on this issue. The Secretariat also referenced resolutions adopted by the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Conference, reaffirming the organization's unwavering support on the Jammu and Kashmir issue.

Meanwhile, the Indian government will conduct a comprehensive civil defense mock drill across the nation on May 7, involving all 244 districts. The main objective of this exercise is to evaluate the preparedness of civilians and government apparatus in handling emergencies such as war, missile strikes, or aerial bombings.
