The Indian automotive giant Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its all-new XUV 7XO in the Indian market. Starting at 13.66 lakh INR, the price climbs to 22.47 lakh INR for the top variant (ex-showroom). These introductory prices apply to only the first 40,000 buyers. Mahindra once again proves its ambition to lead in the SUV segment with cutting-edge technology and innovation.

Models, Booking, and Delivery
The Mahindra XUV 7XO is available in 6 variants: AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T, and AX7L. Test drives begin on January 8, with bookings and deliveries from January 14. Uniquely, even the base variant features a coast-to-coast three-screen layout, offering an immersive cabin experience from the start.

31.24-Inch Triple Screen
A 31.24 cm coast-to-coast triple screen is standard in all variants of the XUV 7XO, a feature other car makers reserve for top models. Mahindra claims it's the first such feature in any ICE (petrol, diesel) SUV in India. Alongside, it comes with the ADRENOX+ system powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chipset, another first in an ICE vehicle.

DAVINCI Suspension

A Unique Suspension System
The front of the XUV 7XO uses an independent McPherson Strut suspension with FSD and a stabilizer bar. The rear features a multi-link independent suspension with FSD and a stabilizer bar, offering better stability and handling. Mahindra claims this suspension system is both unique and comfortable.

The vehicle includes ADAS Level 2 features, with 17 driver assist functions. The advanced driver assistance system package provides more than 17 advanced safety features, including ADAS visualization, driver drowsiness alert, electrochromic IRVM, memory ORVM with auto tilt for reverse, electronic parking brake with auto hold, auto-booster headlamp with high beam assist, and tire pressure monitoring with learning capability.

Engine and Performance
The Mahindra XUV 7XO offers two engine options: a 2.0-liter mStallion turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-liter mHawk turbo diesel engine. The petrol manual variant accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in less than 5 seconds. Both engines are available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions. It includes Zip, Zap, and Zoom drive modes with a custom mode as well.

Braking System

Price and Variant Range
The base AX variant starts at 13.66 lakh INR for the petrol manual and 14.96 lakh INR for the diesel manual. Prices for the AX3 and AX5 variants range from 16.02 to 16.49 lakh INR and 17.52 to 17.99 lakh INR, respectively. The AX7 variant starts at 18.48 lakh INR, while the top variant, the AX7L diesel automatic, goes up to 24.11 lakh INR. Automatic transmission requires an additional 1.45 lakh INR, while the all-wheel drive option adds 2.45 lakh INR.
