Apple may soon announce the name of its new CEO. According to reports, Apple's CEO Tim Cook is expected to step down next year, with John Ternus possibly taking the helm. The 50-year-old John Ternus is considered the top contender in the race for Apple's CEO position.
Although an official stamp on his name is yet to be placed, Tim Cook remains Apple's CEO for now. With technical expertise and over two decades of experience at Apple, John Ternus stands as a strong contender for the next CEO of Apple.
Currently, John Ternus is Apple's Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, responsible for leading all hardware teams at Apple, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and AirPods. At 50, John is seen as Tim Cook's successor.

John Ternus began his journey with Apple in 2001, joining the product design team. Climbing the ladder of success, he was appointed Vice President of Hardware Engineering in 2013. In 2021, he was promoted to Senior Vice President, where he has been heading Apple's hardware engineering division.
