In a shocking incident driven by a love affair in Jaipur, Rajasthan, a lover, following the cues of his beloved, brought her husband to a gruesome end. Prior to bestowing a painful death, the murderous lover slit the husband's throat and then severed and discarded his private parts. The wife, who crafted the entire murder plot, had been scheming for the past nine months. Her previous attempt at orchestrating her husband's demise had failed due to undisclosed reasons. However, within 24 hours, the police unveiled the blind murder case and apprehended the guilty wife and her lover.
West Jaipur's Deputy Police Commissioner, Amit Budania, revealed that on the night of May 27, a bloody and lifeless body was discovered in an empty plot near Loha Mandi weighing area, whose throat had been savagely slit, and private parts found mutilated. Given the nature of this blind murder case, a team was assigned to meticulously investigate the site. With the help of the FSL team, crucial evidence was gathered surrounding the corpse. The victim was identified as Kajod Singh, which led the police to probe into the matter. Suspicion quickly fell on the victim's wife, Rama Devi, leading to her and her lover Kanhaiyalal's arrest.
The police interrogation uncovered a love affair between the accused Rama Kanwar and Kanhaiyalal that had been ongoing since 2021. Their fateful meeting occurred in May 2021 at Gharaunda Colony, 29 Sector Pratapnagar, where Kanhaiyalal Nishad was residing with his sister Priya. Married Rama Kanwar frequently visited her sister Bhawar Kanwar's place nearby. The illicit relationship between them deepened and soon they intended to marry, but not before devising a plan to eliminate Rama's husband Kajod Singh.
Kajod Singh worked as a recovery agent at Surya Enterprises, while the accused Kanhaiyalal was employed as a salesman at Brahmasha Electronics showroom in Pratapnagar. In the meantime, Rama Devi Kanwar fed her lover Kanhaiyalal detailed timings of her husband's comings and goings. The accused had repeatedly shadowed Kajod Singh and gathered information about his daily routes.
On May 27, the day of the murder, Kanhaiyalal bought a sharp knife, Colin, gloves, and a helmet from Sanganer Market in Vatika Colony. As per their sinister scheme, Kanhaiyalal, riding his motorcycle, followed Rama's instructions and began trailing Kajod Singh. To ensure the plan's success, Rama Kanwar also conversed with Kanhaiyalal several times via WhatsApp calls.
That evening, as Kajod Singh was returning home from work, he unwittingly allowed Kanhaiyalal to accompany him on his motorcycle. To avoid identification by CCTV cameras, Kanhaiyalal didn't remove his helmet throughout the journey. Then, under the pretense of having a discussion, he lured Kajod to a deserted spot near Loha Mandi. There, after sharing cold drinks and an hour of conversation, Kanhaiyalal seized his chance and pulled out his knife, striking Kajod's throat. In an attempt to escape, Kajod ran towards an empty plot, but the assailant relentlessly attacked him again, leading to his death.
Furthermore, to confuse the police, the perpetrator gruesomely severed Kajod's private parts. Though initially considered a crime of passion by the police, no evidence of an affair surfaced, and Kajod's character was proven to be unblemished.
Further investigation revealed that on the day of the incident, an unknown caller used Kajod Singh's phone around 8 pm, reporting an accident. The suspicious nature of Rama Kanwar's involvement led the police to intensify their scrutiny, after which Rama Devi confessed to the entire conspiracy.
