The family, in a state of panic, rushed her to a local doctor in the village, where she was declared dead. A heart attack is suspected to be the cause of death.
The incident occurred in the village of Hathiyakhéra in the Hasampur Kotwali area. Mahesh Khadgvan's 5-year-old daughter, Kamini, was sitting on the bed on Friday night around 9 PM watching cartoons with her mother Sonia. Suddenly, the mobile phone slipped from her hand and fell to the ground.

Initially, Sonia thought she was playing a prank, but when she shook her, there was no response. This caused her to raise an alarm. Family members and nearby residents rushed to the scene. Kamini was hurriedly taken to a local doctor in the village, who declared her dead on arrival.
Her Fifth Birthday Was to Be Celebrated on January 30
Following the incident, the family was overwhelmed with grief. A heart attack is suspected to be the cause of death. On Saturday morning, the family took the body to Gangaghat for the last rites. Kamini was the only child of her parents. Her fifth birthday was to be celebrated on January 30.
The mother said that the daughter was sitting on the bed watching cartoons on a mobile phone. Suddenly, the mobile slipped from her hand. The sudden death of a 5-year-old has left everyone in shock. Sonia mentioned that her daughter was in perfect health. She had played until late Friday evening and had dinner.
'Only Post-Mortem Could Confirm the Cause of Death.'
Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Satyapal Singh stated over a phone conversation that given the described sequence of events where sudden death occurred, a heart attack is a plausible reason. However, only a post-mortem could have confirmed the cause of death, which is now not possible. For the time being, the family’s account is being trusted.
