An intriguing and tragic love triangle has emerged in Amravati, Maharashtra. A young man was romantically involved with two young women, leading to a tension-filled confrontation when the truth was revealed. The situation escalated to an unimaginable extreme, with a girl named Seema violently attacking another girl named Shubhangi with a knife, tragically ending her life. This incident adds to the rising tension in Amravati, marking the fourth homicide within the past 36 hours.
According to the details, the grim event took place near a new bypass close to the Raja Peth police station in Amravati. The victim, 26-year-old Shubhangi, was a resident of Arvi in the Wardha district. She had visited Amravati two days prior to celebrate a friend's birthday. Her boyfriend, Suraj Deshmukh, and his other girlfriend Seema, were also present.
Upon discovering their dual involvement, Shubhangi advised Seema to stay away from Suraj, demanding, 'Why are you with my boyfriend?' This confrontation led to an intense argument. To resolve this dispute, Suraj arranged for the trio to meet near the new bypass in Amravati.
Accompanied by her friend, Shubhangi confronted Seema at the arranged location. With discussions ongoing, tensions flared. In a sudden and enraged moment, Seema attacked Shubhangi with a vegetable knife, leaving her critically injured.
Bleeding profusely from the knife wounds, Shubhangi was rushed to Erwin Hospital in Amravati by her friend and Suraj, where doctors declared her deceased. In the light of these grave developments, Suraj disappeared from the scene, and Seema fled shortly after.
Raja Peth's Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ganesh Shinde, confirmed that the police promptly arrived on the scene following the incident notification and gathered information from Shubhangi's friend. The authorities have secured the crime scene evidence and initiated an investigation, actively searching for the suspect, Seema, and the boyfriend, Suraj. An arrest warrant will soon be issued to bring the alleged perpetrator to justice.
