The Union Home Minister Amit Shah today unveiled the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) manifesto in Jharkhand. After presenting this manifesto, he addressed a public gathering and severely criticized the Hemant Soren government. Shah declared that this election in Jharkhand is not only about changing the government but securing the state’s future. He accused the current administration of failing to protect Jharkhand’s integrity—its bread, daughters, and soil.
Shah remarked that the decision lies with Jharkhand’s illustrious populace to choose between a government drowning in corruption or one led by Modi ji ushering development. He asked if they prefer an administration jeopardizing Jharkhand’s identity through infiltration or a BJP government ensuring such secure borders that not even a bird can cross.
'Hemant Government Failed to Secure Women'
Shah stated, 'The condition of women has deteriorated under Hemant’s governance, with Jharkhand ranking second in the trafficking of minor girls and abduction of women. Rape cases have increased by 42 percent. A conspiracy is afoot where tribal daughters' lands are being usurped by infiltrators. Our government will identify and expel them. The Hemant Soren administration could not ensure women’s safety. Jharkhand is fraught with corruption—have you ever heard of a recovery amounting to ₹351 crore? More than ₹20 crore was seized from Alamgir Alam’s premises.'
Amit Shah has pointed out, 'The great citizens of Jharkhand must choose between a corrupt government and one led by Modi ji focused on development. Should we have an administration endangering Jharkhand’s identity or secure borders under a BJP government?'
Shah Addressed Unemployment
The Home Minister said, 'The youth, frustrated by unemployment and exam leaks, now align with BJP to secure their future. Rather than a government that distributes wealth meant for the poor among cronies, the populace of Jharkhand seeks one that aims for their welfare. Hence, BJP presents its electoral manifesto today.'
Launching a fierce attack, Shah noted, 'Under the Hemant Soren administration, crimes against women have surged by 29 percent, and rape cases by 42 percent. Hemant Soren promised jobs to 500,000 young people annually—today, I’m here to demand accountability. Forget 2.5 million; just present a list of 500,000. The youth in Jharkhand are angry with the Hemant Soren government and seeking accountability.'
