March 11, 2025, Chainpur, Palamu

It was morning when Jharkhand Police's Special Task Force was ready to bring notorious gangster Aman Sahu locked in Chhattisgarh's Raipur jail to Jharkhand. A convoy consisting of one Bolero and two Scorpio SUVs was stationed outside Raipur jail. After completing formalities, gangster Aman Sahu was seated between two armed STF personnel in a Scorpio. A police Bolero led the convoy while another Scorpio followed it. Around 12 to 15 STF personnel were part of this convoy.

The convoy left Raipur with Aman Sahu, progressing silently towards the Jharkhand border. A short while later, it entered Jharkhand's territory, stopping due to a fallen tree on the road. Before the STF personnel could discern the situation, commotion erupted in the middle vehicle.
