Airtel is shutting down its music service, Wynk Music, soon. The company has formed a partnership with Apple to provide access to music and video content. Customers will receive access to Apple TV+ and Apple Music.
These services will be available to consumers by the end of this year. According to PTI, a company spokesperson confirmed, 'We can confirm that Wynk Music service is being shut down, and all its employees will be integrated into the Airtel ecosystem.'

According to Moneycontrol, a source familiar with the matter stated, 'Music streaming monetization is low in India. Airtel aims to offer a better service. Apple is a prominent player in the global market. This partnership will help Apple grow its subscriber base in India.'
Under this partnership, Airtel will offer Apple Music subscriptions at a better rate than Apple, exclusively for Airtel customers. These plans will not be accessible through other telecom operators.
