Air India's flight AI-159 from Ahmedabad to London was canceled on Tuesday due to technical difficulties, sparking discontent among its passengers. Upon reaching the airport, they were notified of the flight’s cancellation without any justification provided.

This marks the third incident of its kind in a single day. Two other flights faced disruptions earlier on Tuesday, necessitating emergency landings. Since the recent aircraft incident in Ahmedabad, flights have been repeatedly affected, primarily due to technical faults.

Bomb Threat on Indigo Flight

Earlier today, around 9:20 AM, a bomb threat was reported on Indigo flight 6E 2706 from Kochi to Delhi, prompting a diversion to Nagpur Airport. An emergency meeting confirmed the threat's seriousness, as the flight number was explicitly mentioned. The flight had already departed Kochi, and for security reasons, it was directed to land at Nagpur.

Technical Fault in Air India Flight

Meanwhile, Air India’s flight from San Francisco to Mumbai experienced a technical issue, leading passengers to disembark in Kolkata. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning when the flight made a scheduled landing at Kolkata Airport around 12:45 AM. A malfunction was identified in the left engine of flight AI180, causing a delay in takeoff. By approximately 5:20 AM, an announcement was made instructing all passengers to deplane.
