A shocking case of negligence has come to light in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Due to a significant blunder by the Agra health department and mortuary staff, a body got swapped. Consequently, a Hindu family accidentally cremated a Muslim individual. This incident has stirred a commotion in the health department.
In fact, the father of Shoaib from Agra passed away on May 10 due to the coronavirus. A grave had already been dug in the cemetery for his burial, but it was later discovered that S.N. Medical College handed over Shoaib's father's
to someone named Manoj. Furthermore, the family performed the cremation following Hindu rituals.
Negligence led to the body being swapped
The situation is escalating, and questions arise about how the body was handed over without verifying the face to the family. Serious allegations are being made against district health officials. How could such a significant mistake occur that Shoaib's father's body reached another family, and his

In this case, Alok Kumar, the Principal Secretary of UP administration and Agra's nodal officer, acknowledged that such negligence is indeed a grave matter. The case is now under the purview of Rajneesh Dubey, Principal Secretary of Health Education, who is conducting a thorough investigation.
It should be noted that due to the havoc wreaked by the coronavirus, Shoaib’s mother also succumbed five days ago. Now, the family consists only of Shoaib and his younger brother.
