In Kolkata's Brigade Parade Ground, the TMC orchestrated a significant gathering today. During the event, TMC General Secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee asserted that they had announced the event on February 25. Within less than two weeks, the event was organized. He remarked that the BJP has the ED, CBI, and judiciary. But we have the support of the people. He continued that our struggle is not just against BJP but also involves the Left and Bengal Congress led by Adhir Chaudhary.
On Pawan Singh, Abhishek Banerjee mentioned that an actor sang various disrespectful songs towards Bengali women, who was then made a candidate by BJP from Asansol. He later withdrew. He pointed out that outsiders from Delhi come here and give guarantees in Modi's name. Abhishek questioned what guarantees Modi provides? Asserting that Modi's guarantee is a zero warranty. In the past, thieves would go to jail, but today they are joining the BJP.
Abhishek Banerjee, TMC MP, stated that many were predicting the obliteration of Trinamool after defections of leaders. He emphasized that today's gathering at Brigade is not just TMC's but belongs to the impoverished. He attacked the Centre claiming that money due to 59 lakh workers under the 100-day plan was withheld. The Mamata Banerjee government cleared their dues. This Brigade is for those 11.36 lakh families who couldn't get their houses due to BJP's decision to hold back funds, aiming to ensure BJP's dissolution.
