The Bharatiya Janata Party has accused the Aam Aadmi Party of indulging in 'Revdi Culture' while in power in Delhi. In a witty retort on Tuesday, AAP unveiled a 'RevdiMan' poster targeting the BJP's criticisms.
The poster released by the Aam Aadmi Party features a cartoon depiction of Arvind Kejriwal, humorously branded as 'RevdiMan.' The poster declares, 'Here, the people's money returns to the people,' showcasing four key welfare initiatives in Delhi: free pilgrimage for the elderly, free bus rides for women, free education for children, and free electricity.
Arvind Kejriwal advocates for these services, stating that if ministers, leaders, and MPs can enjoy freebies, why shouldn't the common people? He argues that as taxpayers, citizens deserve free access to basic amenities in return.
In reality, the BJP has been opposing such free schemes, accusing opposition-led governments of promoting 'Revdi Culture.' The Delhi AAP government has frequently been their target. However, AAP's release of the 'RevdiMan' poster is a clever jab back at the BJP.
