Pappu Yadav, the Member of Parliament from Purnia, has once again been threatened with death by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This threat was communicated via WhatsApp, with claims that he would be assassinated within 2 to 3 days. The threatening call originated from a Pakistani number, with the caller identifying themselves as a close ally of Lawrence Bishnoi.
Additionally, a video containing an explosive scene was sent to him on WhatsApp, ominously captioned 'Your Future.' The caller intensified the threat, declaring their intent to eliminate Pappu Yadav before December 24. It's notable that December 24 marks the birthday of Pappu Yadav. Furthermore, the message included a surveillance warning under images of Pappu Yadav and his son, Sarthak, indicating they are being watched. In response, Pappu Yadav appears to be in a decisive stance, daring his adversaries with an open challenge to select their date and battlefield.

Previously, Pappu Yadav had received similar threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, with menacing messages and calls reaching his office. These included messages sent to his PA, received at 2 AM on November 6 and again around 10 AM on November 7. The PA confirmed this was specifically through WhatsApp, even sharing screenshots of the threatening chats.
What's the Background Story?
Earlier, Pappu Yadav had actively posted against the Lawrence gang's threats to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, challenging the gang and vowing to dismantle their network within 24 hours. A few days following this public declaration, Pappu Yadav reportedly received another menacing call, which he later made public himself.
In this call, Lawrence's alleged henchmen threatened Pappu Yadav with severe acts. Following this menace, Pappu Yadav requested enhanced security from the central government, given he currently holds Y category security but is now demanding Z category protection.
