The freezing cold continues to grip India's capital, Delhi, and the neighboring NCR regions, along with the entirety of Northern India. Delhiites might face a double weather challenge as rain is expected in the coming days, which could amplify the chill.

Between 11 PM on Friday and 2:30 AM, visibility in Delhi-NCR plummeted to zero. However, it improved to 400 meters at IGI Airport by 6:30 AM on Saturday. Flights were initially affected during the night but operations have normalized. The temperature recorded at 5:30 AM in Delhi was 11 degrees Celsius, up due to an active western disturbance.

Rain is expected from this evening or night in Delhi, persisting through tomorrow. During this period, nighttime temperatures may rise while daytime temperatures could drop. Thick fog blankets parts of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
