Today (February 26), as part of the Amrit Yojana, PM Modi was inaugurating railway stations via video conferencing, where MP Varun Gandhi attended the Pilibhit railway station event. Other prominent BJP leaders, including district president Sanjeev Pratap Singh, were present, marking Varun's first public appearance with the district president in four years.

Moreover, BJP leaders like former MLA Kishanlal Rajput, DCB President Sattapal Gangwar, and Municipal President Dr. Astha Agarwal also graced the event.

Notably, Varun Gandhi had been vocal against the Modi and Yogi governments' plans for the last couple of years, which had once distanced him from both prominent and grassroots party members. Discussions about his potential dismissal in the 2024 tickets were also in the air. Nonetheless, amidst all this, Varun Gandhi was seen today, comfortably seated among the party leaders, and was also noticed praising PM Modi.

While addressing the crowd, Varun Gandhi expressed, "Our country is making its mark on the world stage. The country that once enslaved us, now its Prime Minister is of Indian origin. There are many such countries around the globe led by people of Indian descent."

Varun further emphasized, "Patriotism should not just be a slogan but the essence and path of our lives. This resolve must be kindled and displayed in each one of us. I regard today's event as an embodiment of patriotism. As a representative, I extend my gratitude to the Prime Minister, inviting a round of applause from Pilibhit as a token of our appreciation, for there is no nobler sentiment than gratitude."
