Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become the only cricketer in T20 history to score two centuries in fewer than 35 balls. His first century at IPL 2025 came off just 35 balls. In Doha, on Friday, April 14, representing India A against UAE during the ACC Men's Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025, he smashed a century off just 32 deliveries.

The 14-year-old wreaked havoc with his incredible innings, resulting in a 148-run victory for India. Batting first, India posted a challenging 297/4, while UAE could only manage 149/7 in reply.

In this match, Vaibhav scored an explosive 144 runs from just 42 balls, hitting 15 sixes and 11 fours, maintaining a staggering strike rate of 342.85.

Young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi also set numerous records against the UAE during the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament. Playing for India A, he scored the joint second-fastest T20 century by an Indian batsman, completing his century in Doha in just 32 balls.

The 14-year-old prodigy from Bihar matched Rishabh Pant's 2018 record of a 32-ball century against Himachal Pradesh for Delhi. His thunderous innings helped India A amass a formidable 297/4 in 20 overs, which included captain Jitesh Sharma's 83 from 32 balls, featuring 8 fours and 6 sixes.

The record for the fastest T20 century by an Indian batsman is jointly held by Abhishek Sharma and Gujarat's Urvil Patel, both crafting a century off 28 balls during the 2024-25 Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy.

Suryavanshi debuted in IPL 2025, a monumental moment, as he was bought by Rajasthan Royals for INR 1.10 crore at the auction. Vaibhav scored 252 runs across 7 matches with an average of 36 and a strike rate of 206.55.

The 14-year-old made his IPL debut against Lucknow Super Giants on April 19, 2025, at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium, starting with a six off his first ball and scoring 34 runs off 20 balls. This performance catapulted him to international fame.

On April 28, 2025, against Gujarat Titans, he scored 101 off 38 balls, achieving a 35-ball century, the second fastest in IPL history, making him the youngest century-scorer in IPL at 14 years and 32 days.
