Once again, President Donald Trump finds himself embroiled in controversy. The acclaimed Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has released a report claiming that Trump sent notorious criminal Jeffrey Epstein a birthday card adorned with a nude image and a provocative message. Trump's name was inscribed on the image in a manner that appeared obscene.
Donald Trump has dismissed the report as completely false and unfounded. He stated, 'These are not my words. I would never communicate in such a manner. I certainly don't create images like that.'
In light of this report, Trump has threatened legal action against both WSJ and its owner, Rupert Murdoch. On the social media platform 'Truth Social', he accused WSJ of deliberately publishing a fabricated story and vowed to sue them.
Close allies of Trump have also labeled the WSJ report as fake. Vice President JD Vance remarked, 'This is utter nonsense. WSJ should be ashamed.' Meanwhile, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene asserted that if Trump were guilty of ties to Epstein’s scandals, the Democrats would have already exploited it.
Trump has demanded that Attorney General Pam Bondi secure court permission to release all documents and testimonies related to Epstein’s cases, ensuring transparency and truth. He described Epstein as a 'criminal' and lamented that discussions about him are ongoing, detracting from the serious issues America faces, like the flood crisis.
It's noteworthy that Epstein, arrested in 2019 on charges of trafficking underage girls, died under suspicious circumstances in jail. His associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, has also been convicted.
