A startling revelation has emerged in the brutal murder of 22-year-old Aditya, known as Suraj Gaud, a BA student in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, the murder was fueled by a romantic entanglement. Allegedly, even after the girl's marriage, Aditya continued to bother her with frequent calls to her in-laws. The girl complained to her family, resulting in repeated warnings to Aditya, which he ignored. Frustrated, her brother Nitesh, along with his accomplices, ruthlessly murdered Aditya.
It is reported that on the night of June 8th, after dinner, Aditya left his home for a walk. He was speaking on the phone while sitting on the roadside a short distance away when he was ambushed by Nitesh Kumar Gaud, his cousin Rakesh Kumar Gaud, and Ritesh Yadav from the same village.

The accused allegedly dragged Aditya to a field and attacked him with a dagger multiple times. The attackers inflicted numerous wounds on his neck, chest, stomach, and back until he succumbed to his injuries. Currently, police have recovered the dagger buried in the soil as indicated by the accused Nitesh. Two bloodstained shirts were also found as indicated by Rakesh, while Ritesh pointed to the deceased’s mobile, located near a dry well beside a peepal tree on Babni Road.
Additional SP Sunil Kumar Singh revealed that information regarding the murder of Aditya Kumar Gaud, a resident of Mujuri Khurd village, Khukhundu police station, was received on the night of June 8-9. A formal complaint was filed by the deceased’s father, Hariprakash Gaud, under relevant sections at the Khukhundu police station. The investigation revealed Nitesh Gaud, Rakesh Gaud, and Ritesh Yadav, from the same village, were involved in the crime. The investigation uncovered that Aditya's harassment of Nitesh Gaud’s sister via mobile calls led the three accused to plot and murder Aditya with a knife.
Khukhundu police and the SOG (Special Operations Group) arrested the three accused, recovering murder weapons, mobile, and clothes. The police have uncovered the murder case and sent the three perpetrators to jail, maintaining peace and order at the scene.
