In a horrifying incident in Kota, Rajasthan, a speeding car ran over a woman and four children sitting outside their home. The woman suffered head injuries, while all four children were badly injured. They are currently receiving treatment in different hospitals. The accident took place on May 8th in Ajay Ahuja Nagar, part of Anantpura police jurisdiction, and was captured on a nearby house's CCTV camera. Footage emerged on May 10th.
ASI Ghamandi Lal of Anantpur police station reported that Bunty Rathore, Hemant Rathore, and neighbor Manoj Mehra, related to injured woman Indra Bai, filed a complaint. Following the report, a case has been registered against car driver Chirag Jangid on Friday, and investigations are underway. The driver is currently absconding, and efforts are being made to locate him.

Bunty, the injured woman’s son, shared that his mother was outside along with children standing with their bicycles. Suddenly, a speeding car hit them, dragging them for 10 feet. Neighbors came rushing at the sound of the cries and initially captured the driver, but he managed to flee with the car. The accident injured Indra Bai and all four children.
The injured children—7-year-old nephew Vivan, 11-year-old niece Yashika, 8-year-old neighbor’s daughter Vaishali, and her 10-year-old cousin Anisha—are under treatment. Children were playing with their bicycles. Vivan and Yashika are admitted to a private hospital in Science City, with Yashika undergoing a 5-hour operation for injuries on her hand and head.
Indra Bai, the mother, has severe head injuries and will undergo surgery. Vivan has critical injuries on his hand, nose, and mouth. Neighbor’s child, Vaishali, has a fractured hand and back injuries, while her cousin Anisha has both hand and leg injuries.
