Yoga guru and Patanjali founder Swami Ramdev recently emphasized the importance of fitness and health for youth and Gen-Z at the AajTak Health Summit. He stated that no one wants to age and that young people need power yoga and anti-aging yoga. Ramdev shared that, although he’s nearing 60, his fitness and stamina rival those of a 25-30-year-old. He said, "If your body's structure, shape, and productivity are right, you can achieve 100% success in the world."

Swami Ramdev also shared his perspective on merging business with being a yoga guru. He stressed that yoga is paramount for him. When asked about criticisms of Patanjali, he highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also practice yoga. Ramdev claimed he still works with the energy of Gen-Z.

He explained the importance of Anulom and Vilom yoga for maintaining vision and competence in life. Ramdev urged Gen-Z to steer clear of medicines, injections, or fat-cutters for weight loss. He advocates that weight can be managed through deep breathing and a balanced diet.

Ramdev divulged that central ministers Amit Shah and Nitin Gadkari have lost 40-45 kg through fasting and diet control. He remarked that he himself works 18 hours a day without feeling fatigued. Taking a jibe at his critics, Swami Ramdev stated, "Those who fear yoga, Ayurveda, and India's prosperity are the ones criticizing me. I am not affected by applause or criticism."

In his message, Ramdev also mentioned the vital necessity of maintaining strength, fitness, and mental clarity. He believes that with regular yoga and Ayurveda practice, an individual not only stays physically but also mentally sound.
