The South African cricket team is set for a two-match Test series against India on their home turf, starting November 14. The team was announced on October 27 (Monday), and it includes the return of captain Temba Bavuma, who was absent during the Pakistan tour due to a calf injury.
In the 15-member squad, South Africa has included three spinners: Senuran Muthusamy, Keshav Maharaj, and Simon Harmer, who are also known for their batting capabilities. This comes as a strategic advantage for South Africa. Fast bowling options in the team include Kagiso Rabada, Marco Jansen, Wiaan Mulder, and Corbin Bosch.
In their recent tour of Pakistan, South Africa played a gripping two-match Test series ending in a 1-1 tie. Pakistan won the first Test in Lahore by 93 runs, but South Africa made a stellar comeback to claim victory in the Rawalpindi Test by 8 wickets. During Bavuma's absence, Aiden Markram stepped up as the team's captain.
