On the night of November 13th, in the Samravata village of Tonk district's Devli-Uniara assembly constituency, a confrontation occurred between supporters of independent candidate Naresh Meena and the police. Following this, incidents of stone-pelting and arson broke out, leaving the village shrouded in silence. Everywhere you look, there are remnants of the uproar. Nearly three dozen burnt motorcycles and two dozen four-wheelers tell the story of the turmoil. Among the charred vehicles, two belonged to the police department.
Villagers from Samravata opposed the inclusion of their eight villages from the Kacharavata Panchayat into the Devli subdivision, boycotting the election in protest. During his visit to assess the boycott, candidate Naresh Meena slapped the area magistrate, Amit Choudhary, for allowing votes from an Anganwadi worker and two others, preventing a total boycott.

Tonk SP Vikas Sangwan mentioned that Naresh Meena was advised against taking the law into his hands and to surrender. Initially hesitant, Meena agreed upon witnessing the police presence. He is to be charged under the applicable sections, and old cases against him will be reopened. Around 50-60 people have been detained in this case.
