Afzal Ansari's Controversial Statement

In Shadiabad, observing the massive crowd gathered for the Maha Kumbh ceremony on Magh Purnima, MP Afzal Ansari questioned the practices of Sanatan Dharma, stating that bathing at the Sangam shore will wash away a person’s sins, thus clearing the way to Baikunth. Observing the crowd, it seems hell will no longer have any occupants, and heaven will become full.

During this time, discussing the massive crowds in trains, he remarked that people are breaking windows, women are shivering inside, and children are hiding in laps, sobbing.
