Pakistan has acknowledged the success of 'Operation Sindoor'. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has admitted that several of their airbases, notably Noor Khan Airbase, were destroyed during India's retaliatory strikes. This admission by Pakistan is now public for the world to see.

Previously, Pakistan had been dismissing any claims of damage, misleading its citizens while celebrating a false victory. Now, there’s admission of the actual aftermath.

Video Emerges

A video of Shehbaz Sharif is viral on social media. In it, he mentions, 'Around 2:30 AM between the dates of 9th and 10th, General Asim Munir informed me through a secure phone line that Prime Minister sahib, India had launched ballistic missiles, with one landing on Noor Khan Airbase and others in different areas. Our air force used indigenous technology to protect our country, including advanced gadgets and technology on Chinese fighters.'

Noor Khan: The Key Airbase

It's important to note that Noor Khan Airbase is no ordinary site. Serving as a hub for Pakistan's VVIP and high-level military aviation, its proximity to Islamabad and dual roles make it one of Pakistan's most sensitive airbases. Satellite imagery available post-strikes confirms that the Indian Air Force executed their operation with precision, without missing any targets.

The Noor Khan Airbase, located near Islamabad, supports critical PAF operations and is used for the country's top VVIP air transport needs. Space company Satellogic's satellite images, provided exclusively to India Today by Earth Intelligence platform SkyFi, disclose new insights into incidents at Pakistan's most high-profile airbase.

Satellite imagery confirms that on May 10, a white G450 (G-IV-X) jet, often used by the Pakistani government for the Prime Minister, President, and Foreign Ministers, was situated approximately 435 meters from the missile impact site at Noor Khan Airbase. The Indian Air Force reportedly targeted the airbase in Rawalpindi, causing destruction to a command and control unit.
