Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), has taken a stand against Pakistan. The heinous act of asking victims their religion before killing non-Muslims was harshly criticized by Owaisi, drawing a comparison between Pakistan and terrorist group ISIS. At a time when certain statements by Congress leaders are causing turmoil within the Grand Old Party, Owaisi's fierce rhetoric and distinct stance have effectively thwarted Pakistan's malevolent intentions.
As a prominent figure in Muslim politics, Owaisi launched a potent attack on Pakistan during a rally against the new Waqf law in Parbhani, Maharashtra. He remarked that while Pakistan's standard time is merely half an hour behind India, the country's development lags by five decades. The Pahalgam attack demonstrates that Pakistan is no less than ISIS. Owaisi asserted that India's military budget surpasses Pakistan's total budget.
