It is noteworthy that CM Yogi has faced similar threats in the past. As recently as March, a similar threatening call was made to the official CUG number. The threatening call was received at the Lucknow police control room on March 4th. The call was made to the police control room's CUG number, and the officer on duty immediately reported the threatening number.
The threatening call involved a bomb threat against CM Yogi Adityanath. According to reports, the call was made on the CUG number, received by the chief constable. The caller told the constable that Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath would be bombed. When asked by the chief constable where he was calling from, the caller immediately hung up.
