In a significant breakthrough, the mastermind behind the religious conversion and blackmailing racket in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, Imran, has been apprehended by the police at Delhi Airport. He was attempting to flee the country. There was a bounty of 25,000 INR on his head, and efforts to capture him were relentless.

The investigation into the case has uncovered shocking international connections. Exclusive information indicates that Imran, a key figure in this network, traveled to Dubai on January 27, 2024. His passport copy is now with the investigating agencies. During the period of conversion activities in 2024, he was abroad.

According to sources, Imran met several suspicious individuals linked to the organized conversion network in Dubai. These meetings involved discussions on expanding the network and securing funding. The extravagant lifestyle of Imran and the substantial expenses of his overseas trips have raised significant questions for investigating agencies. It has also been revealed that Imran's operations were not confined to Dubai alone.

He frequently traveled to Malaysia as well, where parts of the network were operated from. Investigating agencies are now focused on uncovering the routes through which funds were funneled from abroad to India. The root of this entire matter ties back to a gym syndicate operating in Mirzapur. Through a chain of five gyms, a racket involving illegal religious conversions and blackmailing was being run.
