Mayawati Raises Alarming Concerns on Bihar Elections

BSP Chief on Bihar Elections 2025 Result:

Mayawati, the leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), has raised serious questions about the outcomes of the Bihar Assembly elections. She argued that if the elections had been conducted entirely free and fair, the BSP could have secured many more seats.

Mayawati congratulated the party workers on the historic victory of their candidate, Satish Kumar Singh Yadav, from the Ramgarh constituency (Kaimur district). She noted that the administration and opposition parties attempted to create a negative atmosphere against the BSP by posing for a recount of votes on this seat, but the courage and resolve of the workers thwarted this 'conspiracy.'

In Ramgarh, the BSP candidate secured victory by merely 30 votes, receiving a total of 72,689 votes. Mayawati mentioned that despite the extremely close competition, BSP workers remained steadfast.

She also claimed that in many other parts of Bihar, BSP candidates gave a tough fight, but the lack of a free and fair environment prevented them from winning. Citing party feedback, Mayawati stated that if the electoral process had been completely transparent, the BSP’s seat count would definitely have been higher.
