Who are the candidates from each party?
The Samajwadi Party has fielded Haji Mohammad Rizwan in the Kundarki by-election. The 70-year-old Rizwan has about 40 years of political experience. He first won from the Kundarki seat in 2002, though he lost to BSP's Haji Akbar in 2007. However, he made a comeback, winning consecutively in 2012 and 2017 from the Kundarki seat.
In the Kundarki by-election, BJP has fielded Ramveer Thakur, BSP has Raftullah Jan, AIMIM has Hafiz Waris, and Azad Samaj Party has Chand Babu contesting.
