Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera also targeted Bhagwat's statement. He said, "It's good he understood the condition of minorities through Bangladesh and what they should do. But, surprisingly, if minorities in India talk about unity, it's seen as a threat.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge offered a strong response to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat's remarks concerning Bangladesh and Hindus. Kharge stated, "There should be no oppression against minorities, whether in India or Bangladesh. We are committed to the protection of minorities in India, and the same should be observed in Bangladesh." He accused Bhagwat and the BJP of dividing people, noting, "The task of dividing people is carried out by Bhagwat and the BJP. Bhagwat supports the BJP, and the BJP itself engages in dividing people."

Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera also took aim at Bhagwat's statement. He commented, "It's commendable that he understood the plight of minorities in Bangladesh and what should be done for them. However, it is perplexing that when minorities in India speak of unity, it is perceived as a threat. Yet when Owaisi mentions Palestine, why does it trouble them? They need to provide answers to these contradictions."

Akhilesh Yadav's Jibe at Bhagwat: 'Why wasn't the Bangladesh issue raised in foreign policy earlier?' Akhilesh Yadav, leader of the Samajwadi Party, also reacted to Mohan Bhagwat's Vijaya Dashami speech. He mentioned, "In terms of international relations and foreign policy, the Bangladesh issue should have been safeguarded. But where were these people when speeches were due?" Akhilesh also mocked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saying, "Who creates more fuss than the CM of UP? Have you listened to the UP CM's language? Spend time with his officials; they will narrate tales of the CM's commotion."
