This morning (December 20), a severe accident shook the city of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. A devastating collision occurred between an LPG and a CNG truck, resulting in a disastrous fire that claimed the lives of six individuals. The blaze left over 40 people critically injured, who have been rushed to Jaipur's Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital for treatment.

The impact of the crash between the LPG and CNG trucks engulfed nearby vehicles in flames. Affected vehicles have been completely turned to ash. Firefighters, along with police and administration teams, are striving to control the blaze. Although most fires have been extinguished, efforts to douse remaining blazes continue, even three hours later.

Witnesses report a tragic scene, with several vehicles left destroyed by the intense fire. The area has been cordoned off as a precaution, with alternative routes being advised.

Rajasthan Minister, Gajendra Singh Khimsar, has confirmed that police and administrative teams are present at the scene, and additional hospital beds are being arranged to cater to all injured. At least half of those injured have suffered severe burns.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has visited the SMS emergency ward to oversee the victims' condition and expressed his grief over the event.

40 Vehicles Caught in Flames

Jaipur DM Jitendra Soni stated, 'Around 40 vehicles were engulfed in flames. Fire and emergency services are on-site, and relief operations are ongoing. The fires have mostly been controlled, with only 1-2 vehicles still at risk.'
