Jabalpur Double Murder Case:
After running from the law for 75 days, a girl, a minor, accused of killing her father and young brother in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, was finally arrested by the police from the holy city of Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Kotwali police took her into custody near the district hospital on Wednesday. However, her alleged accomplice in the double murder, Mukul Kumar Singh, managed to escape the scene.
Daughter Admits To Murdering Father And Brother
Indeed, on the night of March 14-15 this year in Jabalpur's Millennium Colony, a railway officer and his son were brutally murdered. The heinous crime was committed by the daughter of the railway officer with the help of Mukul Kumar Singh. Both had been on the run since the day of the crime, and it was during this time they were together. The juvenile girl confessed to her involvement in the murders during interrogation, and she is now in police custody.
Police Tracked Down Couple Near Hospital
The perpetrators evaded police capture for all of 75 days, proving themselves to be elusive. To the point where on several occasions even after receiving their location, by the time the police arrived, the pair had already escaped. Thus, leaving the law enforcement officers time and again in the dust.
Mukul Singh Gave Police The Slip
When Haridwar police received information about the whereabouts of the duo, they sprang into action. According to district SSP Pramendra Singh Dobhal, a police checking campaign revealed that there was a couple near the district hospital, comprising a young man, Mukul Kumar Singh, and a girl. When both were called in for questioning, during this moment, Mukul Kumar Singh ingeniously dodged the police and fled.
