Pakistan is in turmoil as the U.S. designates The Resistance Front (TRF), linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, as a terrorist group due to its involvement in an attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir.

Pakistan's Official Reaction

In a press release, the Shahbaz government of Pakistan responded to the terrorist designation of TRF. They emphasized their condemnation of terrorism in all forms.

The Shahbaz government stated that Pakistan has been at the forefront in the fight against terrorism and its contribution to global peace cannot be overlooked.

Pakistani authorities highlighted the arrest of Sharifullah, mastermind of the 'AB Gate Bomb Blast', as evidence of their efforts.

Pakistan's Stance on the Pahalgam Incident

Pakistan remarked that the investigation of the Pahalgam attack is ongoing and reaching conclusions prematurely would be hasty. They described the region as 'internationally disputed' and dismissed India's claims of direct links to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), calling them against 'ground realities'.

Response on Lashkar-e-Taiba

Pakistan declared that Lashkar-e-Taiba is inactive and banned within the country, and actions have been taken against its leaders, resulting in arrests.
