Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif warned that should India violate the Indus Water Treaty by constructing any structure on the Indus River, Pakistan would respond with force.
According to Pakistani media outlet Geo News, Khawaja Asif remarked that any construction on the Indus River would breach the Indus Water Treaty, representing a direct act of aggression against Pakistan. Asif emphasized that aggression transcends beyond artillery and bullets; it also involves cutting off water, potentially leading to death through famine and thirst.
