Once again, the Indian Army has successfully thwarted Pakistan's malicious attempts. On Thursday night, Pakistan aimed to launch missile and drone attacks across the border areas of Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Gujarat, which were intercepted by India's defense system. During this period, the army released a video demonstrating how they obliterated the enemy's terrorist bases.
According to the army's report, during the nights of 8th and 9th May 2025, Pakistan attempted multiple attacks along the western border. Indian territories were targeted using drones and other weaponry from Pakistan’s side. Additionally, there were numerous ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir.
Throughout this operation, India's defense systems managed to intercept all drone attacks and responded fiercely to ceasefire violations.
Army's Statement
The army's statement clearly mentioned conducting "Operation Sindoor," effectively neutralizing all drone threats and giving a strong reply to ceasefire infractions. The army firmly stated their resolve to take all necessary measures to protect Indian borders and will not tolerate any malevolent intentions.
India's advanced air defense systems took charge during this operation, while soldiers on the ground responded to every offensive. Battalions positioned along the Line of Control retaliated strongly to Pakistan’s firing and thwarted their advancement efforts. Following this statement by the army, all security agencies across the nation have been put on high alert. Patrolling in border regions has been intensified, and citizens have been urged to stay vigilant.
In response to Pakistan's attempts on Thursday to target nearly 15 Indian cities, including locations from Jammu & Kashmir to Jaisalmer, the Indian Army successfully intercepted all attacks. Every drone, missile, and combat aircraft entering Indian airspace was shot down one after the other, followed by a robust counterattack by the Indian Army, creating panic in Pakistan. Joint operations by water, land, and air forces in cities like Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Peshawar were executed rapidly.
