The train had barely moved half a kilometer from the station when vigilant passengers spotted smoke emanating from a coach. According to a local police officer, both police and railway teams were dispatched immediately upon receiving the information. Passengers were evacuated without delay. However, it was reported that a female passenger sustained injuries and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment.
Railway officials revealed that the incident occurred at approximately 7:30 AM.
